Don Elbreg
First of all, if you are reading this, I thank you so very much for your time in doing so! I come from a musical family. My mother, Sandra Elbreg, played the guitar, accordian, and piano. She earned a degree in voice from Butler University, where she met my Aunt Mary, through whom she later met my father, George Elbreg. My Grandmother, Virginia Elbreg, also grew up playing piano, organ, and singing.
My mother passed away in 1978 when I was nearly 1 and 1/2 years old, as did my brother Tom, who was only 4 years old. My Mother's acoustic guitar, a Hummingbird copy, sat upon one of the two landings in the condominium I grew up in, until I finally had the courage to ask my father if I could use it to take guitar lessons at age 13. I have been playing, singing, and writing since then, and still have my mother's Hummingbird, as well as her baby grand piano, which my wife Josie and sons Avery and Rowan play more than I ever do!
If you click on "Photos," then "Concert ticket stubs," and browse through them, you'll see that I am a fan of artists from several different music genres, especially Bluegrass! If you have time, you may also click on "Don with some of his favorite artisis" to see who I have had the pleasure and priviledge to meet!
Thanks so much for your time! Please visit my site as many times as you like and send me an e-mail!
